I was talking with this girl yesterday about her past relationships and she is fed up with guys. Guys do this and guys do that, and this isn't the first girl I have heard this from a girl. It is almost like they are innocent in anything that goes wrong in a relationship, nothing is there fault. And when ever I ask them "well what did you do wrong", I get a variety responses back. The simple lie of "nothing" to the angered response of "none of your business" when ironically they brought the conversation up. But instead of blaming themselves for anything, they blame the guy and the bad situation that happened last time keeps on repeating itself with other guys. To accept the evidence that the same situation happens with multiple guys and then blaming guys for the mistakes is just denying that fact that is was them. It follows the definition of insanity, to keep doing the same thing but excepting different results.
It is like the saying"history repeats itself for those whole fail to learn it". This simple saying can easily be applied to historical events such as revolutions. The people are treated bad, depressed, poor, impoverished, and most of all, not given any rights. This trend can be seen starting from the earliest revolution, although the farthest back I can think of is the french revolution. Then it happened in the America, then with discrimantion, to the revolution in China and the Soviet union. But that is the simple part of understanding history repeating itself because it is right there in text and it is impersonal. But the saying is universal, as in it can be applied to peoples lives.
A person who goes into debt many times because of their credit card spending, does not watch the road after several accidents, to having relationships end for similiar reasons are all examples of people not learning from their own history. The worst thing is they blame other things or people for what is happening, but never themselves. In no way, shape or form can it be their fault. It is like telling a person they are bad with criticism and the first thing they do is get upset. So what is the remedy for it?
Be responsible for your actions and blame yourself. It is the first step to getting overcoming a problem; taking responsibilty and not blaming other people because when you blame other people, you shut your brain down and do not think of a way to solve a problem. It might be cultural too. My japanese teacher tells me how in Japan whenever something goes wrong, such as a car accident, the first person both parties they blame is themselves.By doing so each person opens themselves up to now solving the problem and when blame finally is placed, if ever, both parties can see it. If you ever notice in America, accident happens and people get out the car, yelling about how they are going to call their lawyer and sue.
Point being, blaming other things and people for events that happen in a person's life is irresponbile and prevents them from growing and learning from that situation, and they are bound to repeat it.
